What I do

Many tasks in a law firm repeat themselves day after day: calculating and monitoring deadlines, maintaining follow-up lists, opening files, preparing pleadings from templates, and filing documents in a structured way. I set up workflows that handle these steps reliably, freeing up more time for the actual case work.

In doing so, I orient myself to the firm's existing working practices. The workflows are configured to integrate with common law firm software and mandatory digital channels such as the beA (electronic lawyer mailbox) and the electronic file. Client communication – status updates, requesting documents and powers of attorney, scheduling appointments – can also be mapped in a structured and traceable way.

Beyond the individual firm, I support the digitalisation of workflows more broadly: moving away from manual, recurring routine towards processes that run automatically and verifiably. Where fixed rules fall short – for example when classifying texts or preparing decisions – AI agents take on clearly defined steps within those workflows.

I work in stages. It starts with a single, well-defined workflow that proves itself in daily use before further steps are added. The firm's digital presence can be included if desired – a website that suits the firm and handles the first steps of a client enquiry cleanly.

Confidentiality is a basic requirement throughout: the solutions run GDPR-compliant on servers in Germany, and on your own infrastructure if you prefer. Legal professional secrecy is maintained, and you receive clear documentation so your team can keep track of the processes themselves.
